Phebe also serves as VP of Service for “buildOn,” where she devoted 383 hours to service projects for a range of organizations from the Soup Kitchen and The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County to Kids in Crisis, Domus, and St. Luke’s Lifeworks. Since Phebe’s freshman year, she has been involved in the Hillandale Best Buddies Program, giving personal attention to pre-school students, and in the Ferguson Library’s Summer Reading Program.
One of Phebe’s many talents is her beautiful voice. She sings in the church choir at the International Gospel Church of CT and serves as a group leader in the Youth Outreach Program, where she assists students individually, and in-group.
“A bright, kind, charismatic individual whose tremendous warmth is infectious. Her leadership and ability to connect with others are the qualities that Phebe excels in beyond her peers.”
With great pleasure and pride, the Selection Committee has awarded Phebe a scholarship this year.
