1995 Michael J. Cacace

REASON FOR AWARD

Michael J. Cacace gave much to the Stamford community. He was president of both the state and local United Way branches. He has also been president of both Stamford-Norwalk Regional Bar Association and the Volunteer Center, a board member of both the Visiting Nurses Association and the Gateway Community Inc. In addition he served as co-chair of the 13th Charter Revision Commission of Stamford’s Reapportionment Commission. The latter group redrew the city’s Board of Representative districts in 1992.

BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Cacace grew up in Stamford. He is a graduate of Fordham University and New York University Law School. He has practiced law in Stamford since 1979.
