REASON FOR AWARD

Louis Lotstein was awarded Stamford Citizen of the Year for his dedicated service to many causes in the Stamford community. He was a president of Congregation Agudath Sholom, the Jewish Home for the elderly, chairman of the local chapter of the Red Cross for six years, past president of the Aid for the Retarded (ARI).

BIOGRAPHY

Louis Lotstein was chairman of the board of the Hartford Provision, Inc. and Gran Central Markets. He served as president of Congregation Agudath Sholom for ten years.
